We used BM Wedgewood grey for our bedroom. Love it. Or try http://pinterest.com/luvmykids/blue-gray-paints/

If you ever decide you like pink paint again blanched coral by Benjamin Moore is a beautiful, barely there warm pink that goes great with other shades of pink.

The best paint colors are always the ones that have a pleasant undertone. My favorite paints are the ones that are hard to describe - a bluish gray or a grayish white. Whenever something is purely blue or pink or any color - it just looks boring and often too saturated.

they won't be in cribs forever - you could keep the pink for now and do non-pink accessories as soon as they outgrow the crib sheets/etc. (otherwise, some of the PP's had great ideas. I especially liked the idea of the broad white stripes on the walls.)

Not yellow if you want peaceful children.

I like the idea of a pale blue.

Benjamin Moore "Gentle Repose" is a beautiful creamy color than can read pale pink or peachy depending on the light. It looks wonderful greens and blues.

Pale blue?

I like the white stripes idea a lot, too.

I would tape it up and paint thick white stripes on the walls. It lessens the pink dramatically but doesn't a new color.

I like the gray suggestion but NOT with green carpet. My daughters room is shell pink and soft gray and it is a gorgeous combination.

Never buy a paint that doesn't have a bit of gray in it. If you can find a gray, try to get one that leans green and not taupe or purple since you already have green in the rug.

White is always safe too.

Just don't get some pastel color that isn't a gray base - it will be bright and super cheesy!

How about a very pale yellow? I don't know if it would work with the carpet, but if it does, it would allow you to use pretty much any other pastel on the beds later.

I need some help with wall paint colors. We just moved into a new home and the room for our twin 16 mo old girls is painted a pale pink. While I originally thought that work, it does not. The rug is a light green and the accessories from the room (and crib sheets) are pretty much all pink...so pink walls are causing pink overload. I'm thinking maybe something more neutral because I may want to do some different colors when they get older (like one bed pink, one purple or blue). The furniture is white. Any recommendations??
