we've had good luck haunting Haverty's for their discontinued models. The quality is good, and the discount is relatively generous.

Love the concept, but their sectionals are not reasonably priced.

I like that a large percentage of R+B is manufactured in the States. Their service is top notch and I've been happy with the "entry-level" stuff that we've bought from them.

I love room and board but I would never categorize it as affordable. It seems really pricey to me, but at least it is good quality unlike pottery barn, which is all (questionable) style and no substance.

We just bought a sectional and sunroom furniture at Macy's and it seems like good quality. It was very affordable, plus we got 24 month 0% financing so I took advantage of that, making it even more affordable. They're running a 10% off sale through 8/12.

We just had our Bassett sectional and dining table delivered and the quality seems decent. They run sales fairly often, too. Also check out West Elm.

Price mattered to us but we did want something nice. We ended up going to Value City Furniture - bought a recliner for $500, a new bed w/mattress for about $1000 and a sectional for $1200. We are pleased with them so far.

Hi

We're looking to buy a few pieces of furniture - mostly a couch or two, a couple of comfy chairs. I know about IKEA and Crate and Barrel, but would love some additional suggestions. Looking for something durable, comfortable, classy, and not super expensive (not sure how I'd define this last criteria, but anyway). What do you have/know about that you love?

TIA
