Ugh yes. I have woken myself up a few times snoring. Glad to know it goes away. 40 weeks tomorrow. Come on baby!

Pregnancy snoring is normal. My husband started sleeping in the guest room, I was so loud. But it was gone after the baby was born.

Totally totally normal - my DH even got up in the middle of the night a few times to move to the guest bedroom because it was so bad. I just declared it to be payback for all the times he's kept me up with the snuffaluffagous routine. And yes it does go away again after pregnancy.

Totally normal. You'll even see it in the pregnancy books. I don't normally snore either but lately I've actually woken myself up because of my snoring. I honestly woke myself up the other night because I thought I heard growling. It was me

OP here. I am VERY relieved to hear that this is normal and that it goes away! I think that DH will be equally relieved when I tell him.

I don't remember this happening when I was pregnant with DC1, and I'm guessing that maybe it's a combo of the way DC2 is smushing my lungs, diaphragm, and other organs when I lay down at night. Did anyone else develop pregnancy snoring (and if you did, please PLEASE tell me that it went away after birth)? I feel bad for DH because we live in a 2 bedroom condo, so the 2nd bedroom is DS's room and there is no guest room where DH can go to get some snore-free sleep.

Also, you are fat, if only temporarily. Fat people snore more.

So badly that I would wake myself up!! Ended after delivery. Another one of those pregnancy things no one mentions.

I did too during my 3rd trimester with #1, but I had some pretty bad pregnancy congestion toward the end. It will go away.

I also snored during pregnancy (both first and second). I think it was the combination of sleeping on my back (normally a stomach sleeper) and "pregnancy nose", congestion. I don't snore now (at least I don't think I do).
