5 is elementary, 8th is middle and 10th is high school. plus 6th and 9th are transition years for students assuming they aren't attending a pk to 8 or 6 to 12 school.

Shouldn't we get the WHOLE picture?? I would love to see the Writing and Science breakdowns just like Reading and Math are advertised to us to see if students are being taught to do more than 2 subjects in DCPS. It's only right. Is there a way to get them published so the public can see them??

Science tests will be changing too soon because of the Next Generation Science Standards. They are still not yet finalized but many states, including DC, have "pre-joined". The new standards are awesome--lots o Enginneering and Science practices, not just content.
