We use coconut oil and popcorn salt and it's soooooo good.

Be sure to buy popcorn salt. Makes the popcorn taste so much better than using regular table salt. It's finer so it sticks better.

I do it the old fashioned way (see above)

Works best on a gas stove vs and electric stove.

Make sure the pot has a nice, solid bottom.

Cast iron skillets work well too.

Sooooo much better than microwave popcorn.

We do ours on the stove but if you want a machine go with a hot air popper.

My husband is addicted to microwave popcorn (a bag a night). I'm worried about health risks of the bag lining & don't love eating all the probably GMO corn. I'd like to get him a popcorn maker & just looked at some on W-S but neither got great reviews. Anyone have one they love? TIA!
