Where are you located, OP? I used to do this kind of tutoring, first with a tutoring company and now, occasionally freelance. I'm a former public school teacher, now college professor.

I would suggest you contact one of the in home tutoring centers, or, if you are in DC and want to talk to me, post an email and I'll email you to see if I can help you.

You could also try posting on local college job boards and neighborhood list serves.

The important thing is, congratulations on taking on the GED. Don't give up. There is someone out there to help you. I'm sure of it.

The MLK library has a free GED tutor every Saturday morning. Her name is Janice.
I went to her and aced my GED within two months.

depends on where you live.. If you live in the district I know the Carlos Rosario charter school has a program. Local Libraries often also have information.
