franklymls has this too. You search es= Douche Valley school or whatever. i loooooved franklymls when i was househunting but never really used redfin much. I also like how franklymls shows you the closed prices for sold houses, it was really helpful when trying to figure out what a fair price would be on a house in a particular neighborhood.

I think both are useful. FranklyMLS gets listings quicker than Redfin tho.

I dislike Frankly MLS and I don't use it - the mobile interface sucks (unlike DCUM, which also basic, but mobile-friendly). So I don't read your posts if you include FranklyMLS links.

I was the first person who recommended it on another thread yesterday. I'm not affiliated--I just like the site because it's basic. DCUM is basic, too--does that keep you up at night?
As I side note, when I post an opinion on the Real Estate forum, I often get accused of being a realtor, or a friend of a realtor, or in collusion with a realtor. It's getting old. People should be able to state their opinion without being interrogated about. Maybe I should create a user name: Not-a-Stakeholder-in-Anything. But that wouldn't really prove anything either.

I find it the easiest to use among all realty/home websites in the area. I especially love that it narrows down by neighborhood name very specifically. I live in a zipcode with a gazillion different and distinct neighborhoods and it is a PIA to filter through those.
for a long time--it was also the only website that showed 'days on market (DOM), price changes (original price, adjusted price), etc. They also were the only ones with a direct link to sellers info. (taxes, purchase price). It was one stop clicking.

I don't understand the hate either. Someone here keeps posting over and over again about how much they dislike the site. If you dislike it so much just don't use it. Seems like posters here push Redfin (which I can't stand) just as hard or harder.

I am not affiliated with franklymls in anyway...other than I sold baby gear to a realtor from that website years ago. This is how I first found out about the website.

redfin does all of those things. The only thing I can see that might appeal to people is the "real price" estimate on franklymls but I don't know how that works.

I like Franklymls and Redfin. Redfin is probably a little more slick, more pleasant to the eye. Franklymls has useful links to Bing and Google maps, and (at least for Arlington) links to the county website with more information on a property.

Never seen a group of people push a realtor website so hard except on this forum.
