Redfin is by far with the most update info vs other are very slow. However, I like zillows Make me move features and preforeclosure listings.

I prefer franklymls because I don't care what a site looks like - I care that it is accurate, frequently updated and easily searched and sorted. Also, I think that once you open up a property's URL, the page has better info in an easier-to-read format than Redfin. I think the mapping is superior, and some other info is easier to find.

I also like estately.com because it makes it easy to search by schools.

Not a knock on estately (which I'm not familiar with) but you can also search by schools on Redfin. Though you should always double-check by going to the district's website, because I've seen mistakes.

+1

I like the redfin search options, email updates, and mobile app. Franklymls is not mobile-friendly at all.

I prefer sites with basic interfaces and not a lot of clutter (e.g., DCUM and craigslist). I also think the site makes it really easy to find sold comps by neighborhood. If you want to key in a ton of preferences and have the site narrow down the choices, I agree there are better options. If you know what neighborhood you want, then franklymls is quick and easy.

homesdatabase.com is the direct MRIS and should have all listings on it. Redfin is great most of the time, but sometimes I don't see listings there that I see on other sites.

I also like estately.com because it makes it easy to search by schools.

also (i'm one of the previous redfin posters) any old site will send you auto emails when new listings come in. i'm using the redfin site to look at listings even while not using a redfin agent.

i personally like redfin the best. it shows a lot more information than other sites, i noticed (even though they all pull from the centralized mls system).

I like franklymls.com. You can sign up with your email address and they'll send you alerts when houses that fit your parameters go on the market. You can also easily see which houses are under contract.

What's the best site to look for houses that are on the market? often I'll google and pull up a website to find that some or a lot of the listed homes are already under contract or sold. Does anyone know of a good place to search? We're just starting our search and don't have a realtor yet.
