No the grownups are forcing it on the kids. Polygamy is still illegal in the U.S. Since it overwhelmingly/exclusively involves women and is almost unheard of for husbands, the concept is nothing more than an archaic form of sexist repression. When applied abroad, it's invariably linked to poverty as some wives are abandoned and left to begging and other illegal professions to survive. So if you can't handle open debate on an anonymous forum like DCUM, don't start the thread.

I guess I'm on the other end of that spectrum: I think they are wise to worry about money, building the houses, etc because someday, maybe soon, their TV money is going to go away.
