One of my neighbors is a department head at the World Bank making about 180 grans a year ... with an AA degree. He went from a tax guy at H&R to a top player in less than 10 years. People with PHD's in economics report to him.
He travels business/first class paid by the bank and the points he earns in a year is enough for him to go visit his family for free.
It's definitely a strange place.

Well, world bank has great benefits and pay, so this is an odd statement.

One staff member stated that it runs more like the World Bank than a nonprofit
