Was coming in here to say this! Their chorizo tacos are good, and I love their jalapeno basil margarita. Muy picoso!

Overwood. I just sent someone else there who had friends in town visiting with kids. Good food, American fare, decent price point, and it's close enough to the water that you can walk around the dock afterward (or get ice cream from one of the umpteen ice cream places at that end). You can take the free trolley down to the waterfront if it's too hot to walk.

Chadwicks is also a good suggestion, although it's not quite as nice and the bar can get kind of loud (maybe on a Wed. it won't be, though).

Austin Grill is also good for kids.

It really is my go-to place for when people come into town with kids. The food is good, beer flows, and it's loud enough that the kids aren't disruptive but nice enough I don't feel like I'm eating at a "kid friendly" place, if that makes any sense.

Really like the place too. Plus very easy to park around there.

If you are truly looking for casual, take them to Chadwick's.

Pines of Florence has Italian and most kids can eat that, not sure about the kids' allergies though. It's walking distance from the hotel.

Hi-
We have friends staying @ Hampton Inn & Suites... looking for a very casual, not too pricey place for 4 adults and 4 kids ages 3-8. Two of the children have food allergies.

Thank you!!!
