If it's the only bad job for a while then it wouldn't hurt, or would definitely hurt less than a gap/lying about the gap to an interviewer.

2 months? That's nothing. You took some time to find the right job. You went backpacking. You helped a grandparent transition to assisted living. You had knee surgery. Who knows.

I think some companies might see that as a red flag that there is something wrong with you. Or that you are a job hopper. Is it possible just to leave that job off of your resume since you've only been there for two months?
