I rented at backstage too. Looks like it moved to van dorn and now has a new name (american backstage).

Arlington county has a HUGE costume department with thousands and thousands of gorgeous costumes that they rent to theatre companies. They used to rent to individuals as well. You might could check there?

I rented a flapper dress from Backstage on Capitol Hill once upon a time.

Oops... looks like it's closed. Yelp suggested a place called "Les Gals" in Silver Spring.

Need a dress for Saturday for a Great Gatsby/Roaring 20's themed party. A google search comes up with a cheapy costume from costumes.com. Anywhere in the DC or Rockville area where I can buy or rent a nice flapper/20's dress?
