Subject: What do you pay for medical coverage?
$115 per month which I hear (and see here) is really good. $1,000 deductible, $25 co-pays, and no flexible spending account.
But! My employer pays $100 a month towards a gym or some other workout thing (yoga, pilates, etc.).

Another person here whose employer pays 100% of our family premium (including dental and vision), $10 copay on some visits, $20 copay other visits.
I don't always love my job but know that we are so lucky to have the benefits that we do.

of course it really depends on how much your employer pays. More relevant is what self employed are paying.....

Forgot to add we have no deductible, and doctor co pays are $25 for primary care, $35 for specialists and prescription co pays range from $0 for generics to $60 for non formulary.

Well, I pay $110/paycheck, but I'm buying a plan with a $2000 deductible per individual/$4000 for the family (which in my case is only 2 people, so no savings there.)
You can't just compare what you pay vs. what someone else pays. You also have to consider what kind of coverage you have. What is your deductible? What kind of cost sharing do you have?
I can tell you I paid more than $160/paycheck for my family of 2 for BCBS when I worked for the federal government.

I get my policy thru work and for a family I pay $160/paycheck (every two weeks!!).
This seems high to me and at a previous job it was half that.
Only one option/plan. I'm divorced and ex is a contractor so no coverage for kids and then I'd still need to pay nearly $100 for me alone anyway.
