You do know that the prohibition on nail polish is because the water creates a barrier to performing wudoo.
I'm sure she knows that's what many believe. It's not universal, though. She chooses to wear it, and doesn't want to be harassed for it. Seems perfectly reasonable to me. There are bigger issues for Muslims to worry about than nail polish.
