Estrogen and progesterone hormones both are responsible for skin darkening.

Exactly same here. I also have it on legs and arms but yes neck looked dirty. I didn't do anything special to get rid of it.

Mine was on my face, and unfortunately it did not go away. In fact, it got worse with each pregnancy. Looks like sun spots, but doc says its melasma.

Estrogen and progesterone are both responsible along with another hormone. It should lighten in a few weeks.

I have skin darkening in several places in addition to the linea Negra. Do these go away, do I need to do anything to get rid of them later?
Looks real bad on neck and arms and legs. Soooo many changes, guess my body won't be the same after but I am glad to have a little one in my life soon.
