These products are made with pea flour, a great high-protein product relative to our shelf-stable alternatives.

I'm really picky about my toddler's food but I do let her have these on occasion. She gets a few then I finish the bag when she isn't looking.

Is there a way to make an inner peas product on our own?

I'm addicted to them. I will eat the whole bag if I'm not careful.

I am ADDICTED to them. Haven't given them to my toddler yet, but if I do, and he likes them, I can imagine me fighting him over them.

I wouldn't hesitate to give these to a toddler! My 5 yo would need portion control, so I'd ration them for him.

They are pretty tasty but very greasy and salty.

LOVE Inner Peas. So does my 1 year old. He doesn't eat a lot of vegetables so I give him these sometimes to help up his "green things" consumption. Also bought a package of Veggie Straws at Costco and he's been loving those too.

The Calbee ones are much better.

My only problem with them is that they are delicious and I always end up eating the whole 3.5 serving bag (~450 calories for the bag)

They've taken the snap peas, cooked it, pureed it, added some ingredients, and then pressed it into the form of a snap pea and baked it. It's definitely processed, but I will buy it on occasion for a easy to pack snack.

They are delicious and my 3 year old loves them. We have also purchased the Calbee brand at Safeway.

They're a LOT better for you than potato chips! Much more protein and fiber, lower in fat, very low in sodium, and actually pretty packed with vitamins and minerals. They're made with like a total of 5 ingredients - and the oil is Canola oil. Not bad for "processed" food.

they are heavily processed. I thought they would be great but then I realized they are processed like potato chips and shaped to look like peas.

Peas are naturally sweet, my kids will snack on them frozen or room temp which they won't do with ANY other veggie. You could try snap peas and dip in fun stuff. HOnestly I think regular peas with butter might be a better option to these just b/c they are so processed. I forget which oil they are made with. THey are definitely better than goldfish crackers or something, not much better than potato chips though.

Anyone try these? What do you think of them as a toddler snack?
