Do you really want/need a ceiling fan in your dining room? We had ceiling fans in every room (house didn't have air conditioning until previous owners installed it) but removed the one in the dining room and replaced it with a nice chandelier.

those look great and we checked them out as well but we went with minka cause they have the reverse, dimmer and all fan controls on the remote. It was very hard finding a fan with the reverse control on the remote.

I looks like the prop of an airplane. Not sure if it's trying to or not but will date itself very quickly.

Look at the 52 one , looks great , but the small one can fit in a smaller room. Very low profile perfect for bedrooms under beds , high quality and great remote.

Haven't installed it yet, but just bought one from Joss & Main.

Obviously with a site like that you need to keep checking in until there's an event with the item you're looking, and you need to be open to the general category versus a very specific item. But if you meet both those criteria it's a great site to find home decor items.

Those of you who have ceiling fans and don't hate the style: where did you get yours?
