Hire a dog walker and a dog trainer.

Our dog was an easy to housetrain, well behaved creature.
Then Hurricane Sandy hit, our house suffered major damage, and we were all, including our dog, traumatized.
Insurance moved us to a rental and that's when the behavioral problems began. The dog, who is largely kept indoors, began barking at passing cars, delivery people, repairman, etc...He was never threatening and we'd try soothing and removing him, but you could still hear him yelping and howling from other rooms.
He also began whining anytime we had guests over and had to put him away (usually for allergy purposes if the guest had them or fear of dogs).
Once we moved back and constructions crews were finishing up the final details, the poor dog went nuts. He would bark, leave poop packages on the couch and floors. When the work wrapped up, including our new nursery, he began the strange habit of occasionally peeing and pooping right in front of the door to the nursery.
We're due in a few months, I'm largely bedridden and can't take him on the long walks we used to enjoy. DH does what he can, but a 30 min daily and several time weekly romp at the local doggy park is all he has time for between working and helping care for me and our toddler.
Things will be even more crunched when baby arrives because we just learned the kiddo will likely need some time in NICU.
We can't have the dog barking and waking up the baby or leaving packages.
Is it time to call in a trainer? Doggy boot camp? The Dog Whisperer?
