In Georgetown, we like Ristorante Piccolo and Paper Moon across the street. Both have good food. We also like I Ricchi in Dupont Circle. I don't know suburban restaurents here sorry.
Paper Moon is some of the worst food in DC , we live in geogetown. I would recommend Filomena
Not the PP, but I cannot stand Filomena's. I'll never see what others recommend about it. IMHO, it's very over-rated. Have traveled to and around Italy many times. Filomena's reminds me of that old AV Ristorante. Yuck.
