OP here. Bought it about a month ago, at one of 2 Indian stores - don't remember which one. And I threw away the original packaging and put it in a nice Snapware container. My instinct at this point is to throw out the entire container, take a shower and rock myself for a bit. Yuck. Btw, I purport to be vegan.

Return it to the store. We found that one ethnic grocery had bugs in all of its brands of rice. We went to another store and the rice was fine.

Found nasty rice weevils in my basmati rice. What to do about it? Throw it all out? But I'm sure the next batch will have it too. Or give up rice eating altogether? Arsenic, bugs...what next? Yuck.
