Why Lydia’s Fields?

Lydia’s Fields (www.lydiasfields.com) is the newest addition to the vibrant farming community six miles northeast of Purcellville. On 10 acres, we carry on the long local tradition of sustainably cultivating a wide diet of rich and hearty vegetables. We grow fruits and vegetables in harmony with nature and focus on restoring the fertility of our soil through cover cropping, composting and, in a rarity for a small farm, letting the land rest. We nurture our soil with biological and mineral amendments that help restore its health, and in turn, produce nutrient-dense vegetables for our tables.

Your purchase of a CSA share is an easy way for you to make this local food revolution a delicious part of your life! We invite you to enjoy our produce weekly with a share (or half share) that represents your commitment to the ongoing movement for local, sustainable agriculture and its nutritious produce.
