In the fall I think there are mostly clinics for this age. But in the spring the clubs are organized by zip code. Waivers are sometimes granted. With respect to a travel team for an 8 year old,if they havent played before it would be hard to recommend a team without knowing more about DS and his abilities and goals.

DS will be 8 in August and wants to play lacrosse this fall. Seems like there's quite a few organizations to choose from - BRYC, FPYC, etc - someone give me the 101's on what organization would be best? I live in Burke, as a point of reference. Also, what's the up-front cost to get into the sport? TIA!
