You can try to put it direct sunlight outside after it's washed...it helps. Trick of many Indian aunties.

Don't waste your time. Cut out stain and iron on cute patch. Turmeric doesn't come out.

Buy Stain Devil - those little yellow bottles - they have different ones for different stains, so check the chart on the inside flap on the front. It's a great brand, took out some bad pasta sauce stains.

Try to soak overnight in Biz. But, it sounds like its bleached the pigment green. So sorry.

Oh, turmeric is the worst. It's a bitch to get out if you get on it immediately. If it's already been through the wash, it's set til judgment day.

If you washed and dried it, it's likely a permanent lime green blob. If not, try oxyclean. Or a paste of baking soda.

So, I made this amazing Burmese dish that calls for turmeric and my 2 yr old dropped a tiny drop on his turquoise shirt and I washed it with soap right away and now have tide from a tide stain pen on it, but help! The turquoise short now has a random lime green blob...
