For a weekend? Rent a cabin on VRBO in western VA or West VA. I assume you're not a camper or you would have already thought of that. Camping is a really cheap but super fun vacation with kids (IMO).

What kind of stuff do you like to do?

How long do you want to be gone? For $300, you could probably get one night if you pick your destination carefully.

Is that a typo? Did you mean $3000?

I don't think $300 will even get you the gas money and one night in a motel 6 to go anywhere.

I'm turning 30 in November and I would like to go on a family vacation for my birthday. I have a two year so I want to go somewhere where my daughter will have fun as well as me and my husband. I would like to spend less than $300 if possible. Any ideas?
