I'd look into agencies before hanging a shingle on your own. Check government websites, look at the hospitals, research agencies that provide therapy.

CPS is pretty much always hiring. I'd look into Montgomery County and DC (CFSA is surprisingly decent given DC politics.) I'd steer clear of PG CPS, they are a mess and turnover is crazy.

Some of the contracted foster care agencies might have openings, but the pay is typically lower.

I don't have any experience with SA. Sorry.

I'd definitely get licensed in DC. There are a lot of agencies/hospitals/SA programs here.
