Keep your eyes on your own machine, people.

Why not tell her to stop?

You're kidding right?? what are you a big baby that you can't just ignore her? and she has the freaking right to look wherever she wants to, get over yourself. You would be a laughing stock and idiot for telling her to "stop looking at you"

Oh look, a creeper bully. How ~*special*~

Back when I worked out at a gym (instead of home), I would throw a towel over the control panel. Two fold effect--(1) I wouldn't be staring at the controls, hoping beyond hope that my 30 mins or whatever was over; and (2) kept the nosey nellies from staring at what I was doing.

My two cents.

well i am not a narcissist but i also find this annoying. i dont mind glancing i do that as well but when you can feel/see someone staring at you or your machine your entire workout its just annoying. everyone glances around thats just the boredom of a stationary machine but glancing and staring are different.

+1 Narcissists always think everyone is looking at them and concerned w/ what they're doing

She's probably bored. I get bored and I'll zone out in people's general direction if my magazine article about Kimye's baby isn't keeping my attention.

She may also be new at that type of machine and trying to figure out what other folks are doing. I've wondered at times if others are as lazy as I am on the arc trainer, looked at the machine next to mine and thought "holy crap - level 30???" And I've definitely seen people looking at my treadmill to see what speed i'm going when I'm sweating buckets and breathing like I'm trying to outrun Michael Myers.

She's definitely intentionally and intently looking. The machines face a mirror on the other side of the room, so I can see her looking over - even extending her neck a bit. It's distracting and annoying as hell.

I get working out is boring and people naturally find stuff to look at. It's normal to glance around quickly at other people and things, but it's straight up rude to stare at what other people are doing.

Could she just be zoned out but looking in your general direction? I have a terrible habit of doing this in a lot of places when I'm by myself. Worst is when I am zoned out and don't realize I"m starting at someone. UGH.
