I just opened a small home child care nearby. This might be a good option for you. I am a former MCPS kindergarten teacher with an 11 month old son. I would love for our children to grow up together.

I put my information in a recent post. You can read about it here.

Kindercare on Sioux Lane right off of 124 is great. We have had my daughter there since she was 14 weeks old.

Kindercare at Crabbs Branch and Kidstop at Shadygrove are very close. I'm not sure if Kidstop takes infants. Kindercare does and my 3 year old is there now. We really like it.

Goddard in Gaithersburg is very good. But I am not sure they still have spots now for end of August.

We are looking for a new daycare for 2 year old and 6-7 week old starting at the end of August. We live off of 124 in Gaithersburg and my husband works in King Farm, so ideal location would be somewhere in between. Can be center or home based. First time leaving such a young one (DD was 6 months when she started daycare), so the infant room or care will have to be stellar. Thanks!
