OP, if the bike shorts part was riding up, maybe you bought a size too big? Try buying just a plain pair of long compression shorts, and put them underneath the running skirt pair. That might solve the problem, and you also can use the compression shorts with any other shorts in the future.
I'm a little worried that if you wipe on some BodyGlide under your compression shorts/skirt, and then it rides up, the compression part will have rubbed off your BodyGlide while it's riding up. It's weird that you have riding up -- that doesn't usually happen to me.
Thanks. I bought size small--I think that was the smallest size they had, didn't really check for XS because usually a size small works. I think I will try body glide on a short run, then if that works well I will try for longer runs with it.
