Subject: Whitney, Wendy, or Winnie?
I had a roommate in college named Winifred who went by Winnie (and still does). It's fine, but Winnie is a nickname and I would give her a "real" name if you want to call her Winnie.
If you like Wendy, you could also name her Gwendolyn and use Wendy as a nickname. I actually like Wendy okay.

Not a fan of any but if I had to choose, I guess I'd go with Whitney.
Willow is ok. I have no idea what PP means by "bitchy resting face" - huh???
HATE Willa.

I agree that Whitney and Wendy are very dated-sounding (Whitney in particular). Winnie is OK but very informal. Would it be short for something else, like Winona?
If you like W names, what about Willa, Willow, or Wren? If you wanted to go more unusual, Winter and Waverly are also nice.

Love the name Wendy!
Not crazy about Whitney.
Winnie is a nickname and I immediately think of Winnie the Pooh.

I like Whitney. Agree that Winnie is more of a nickname, but I like Winnifred/Winifred.
Dislike Wendy.

I agree that if "none" was an option, that's what I'd pick.
Whitney -- very dated
Wendy -- very dated and very little girlish. I can't imagine being a young 20 something and trying to get started on a career and build a professional reputation with a name that simultaneously said "little girl" and "grandma" and "don't take me seriously".
Winnie -- is a nickname. If you can make it short for something then it's probably the best of the 3, but what is the question. Here are some options:
Winifred: Kind of nice, but she'll probably choose to switch to "Fred" when she's old enough to have sense.
Gwynneth: Not my favorite sounds, but at least it's a real name and not dated.
A -wen name like Brownwen or Anwen? Anwen would probably be my favorite, but again she'd probably ditch "Winnie" for "Annie" early on.

Not my baby so I have no opinion, but Winnie is generally considered to be a nickname. So you might want to consider if you want to go with that and then face the "what is her full name?" questions forever.
