Loved riding in my friends, but personally too small for me!

I love mine (Clubman) for the reasons others gave. It is not "smooth" because it is more of a sporty car to drive. It just depends on what you prefer. The service comes absolutely free for the first 3 years. I have had mine for about 4 years (not very many miles though) and have yet to have a repair.

Works for small people. I've only ever ridden in one, but at 5"9 I felt crammed. I think they're also a pita to get fixed?

Well, I only drive about 6-10 miles a day, so I just need something that is good on gas and easy to park. I have always had SAABs, so another quirky car seems right for me.

Buy one if you like driving a go-kart full time. Not being snarky- that was my impression of the mini. Definitely a fun car, but not smooth or quiet, as a PP noted.

Does the way the back windshield si slanted cause you to not be able to see much out of it? From the outside it looks very close to straight up and down, which I know means a lot of big blind spots.

Not the OP, but tell us why. I love the look and history and would consider buying one if no major mechanical issues.

My husband has a Mini Clubman John Cooper Works edition. We love it- it's lots of fun. Ours just passed its first birthday and no problems yet.

We also have a mini van. It would be hard to have the Mini as an only car, but we did drive to Quebec in it with 2 weeks of luggage.

Love it. Especially if you live in the city---cannot beat the ability to park it. Would not get it if you have need of car seats though (our kids are older).

I had one the first year they came to the US. Loved it.

I'll sell you ours. We are trading it in for a quieter, smoother ride.

If you have one, do you love, like of hate it?
