So I think this is happening when the first and second posts both occur in the same minute. If you look at both of those threads the first post is clearly a response to the second post.

So the times are not out of order but the posts appear to be.

I don't see any out of order posts in either of those threads. If you will see them, can you please post the times stamps of the thread in case I'm simply blind.

Also, when you go to the thread, hit "reload" in your browser and refresh the page. That may actually fix the problem.

I was just coming here to post about this! I have been seeing this happening more and more. Here is an example from today:

I have seen this happening as the original post showing up second instead of first.

I have been looking for cases of this happening so that I understood the issue. Prior to your post, I had only been aware of a single case and I thought that was an anomaly. Since, you asked this question, I have now found other cases and I believe I understand what is happening. I am going to try to figure out how to correct the problem -- which is rare an only occurs in very specific conditions -- and implement the fix. Thanks for letting me know about it.

I don't know if there's anything you can do about this, but I noticed on a couple of threads (like the "million mom ama" and the "yay, the lung transplant happened" threads) that I would read a post quoting another post before I read the quoted post (if that makes sense).
