I live less than a mile from WF. I use Relay for pick-up (pickup location is not far from the WF) of meal plan groceries. I go to WF for spontaneous groceries (don't have a meal planned/prepped), last minute items I forgot to order, and a couple things RF doesn't sell (ex: wine). I did use RF delivery for Thanksgiving groceries (delivered the day before), because I didn't want to fight the crowds in-store.

I just signed up with them and it's $30 per month, not $20. Also, their prices for regular things like cereal are really high so it makes sense to stick with things like bottled milk and organic food. Haven't received my order yet but I am looking forward to it.

Yes, it's expensive if you do delivery but in line with whole foods if you do pickup. They are also super friendly have have extraordinary meat selections from great farms.

I'd say Relay's prices are comparable (some things +/-) to WF's. One thing I sort of dislike about WF is that in the produce section, sometimes you only have one option for the produce you're buying. I like that with Relay, I have more of a selection, especially more of a local produce selection.

Another thing I like about Relay is that they don't sell just food -- they also sell diapers, wipes, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc. I know they sell those items at the grocery store/Target, too, but it makes it easier for me to just get them with my food delivery if I'm about to run out.

Yes. Picked up at Alexandria location; no delivery fees that way. I was surprised by the high quality of the produce.

Yes. I ordered a few things and they were of good quality. They forgot one item and refunded the cost of it.

If you're home, the driver will bring the stuff in your house while you empty the bags, because they want to take the coolers with them. It is their policy to not accept tips.

They'll leave the package if you're not home but then you're responsible for returning the coolers to them.

There are two things that have prevented me from ordering again: 1) it's hard to get the delivery slot I want if I don't plan ahead; 2) it's either $20/month for delivery unlimited OR $10 per delivery. Since I don't anticipate ordering weekly, I'm not willing to pay the monthly fee, but at the same time, $10 per delivery seems steep.

That said, I can't come up with a better solution for the delivery fees. They need to recoup some of their costs so I understand.

We got a couple on the valu-pak (yes, I actually look through those). I had never heard of them before but am always looking for healthy delivery. Comments on service or products?
