L'Academie camps for teens are awesome. My DD has done several and has developed really good skills -- e.g., she's a wiz with a knife, can make a pastry crust, knows how to work with phyllo dough, etc. She usually teams up with a pal for one or two half-day camps each summer and they have fun.

You can find them by searching in the "Cooking Class" Category - FYI, L'Academie has many cooking classes catering to teens, but many others like Cookology in Ashburn and Sur La Table in Pentagon City also do them..![]()
