having a kid has cut into my football, big time. I would be lucky to watch a game for 15 mins.

OP here. I agree and he still has a LOT to learn in the NFL. Great college player, not so much NFl. His skills are unorthodox in the way he throw the ball. No doubt he wont get much play time. That is good. He needs to learn from Brady. And as a PP said, since Brady isn't worried/intimidated, he might actually learn something. Added bonus, Patriots will show what they can do with a player. They are used to drama with Chad, ect.

Didn't care at all beforehand, but the hype and the almost cult-like nuts who were singing his praises when he played in denver were ridiculous. Stop it with the insane idol worship people - he is NOT the second coming.

My husband, who actually cares about football (I honestly don't watch much in the way of professional sports these days), has more of an opinion based on his playing abilities and not the personal stuff. He doesn't really think he is an NFL caliber quarterback.

It should be interesting to see if he gets any playtime this coming year...

Op here. I met him back in college, signed a ball for my kid and had a long conversation. Swell guy, too much hype for all the wrong reasons. I wish him well.
