Sounds like everyone thinks gift cards are good. I like the gift basket, too - will have to think of what to put into it. I'm open to ideas!

Gift cards would be good. Panera is a decent choice - good variety.

Gift cards to places he can grab lunch -- Subway, Panera, McDonalds, Chipotle, etc.

My dad is a bus driver (in another state). He typically receives gift cards (sometimes if a few families are at a bus stop they'll all pitch in for one card) to restaurants, money, candy, baked goods.

The only thing he isn't a fan of is coffee mugs/coffee, because he doesn't drink it.

Honestly, I doubt he gets many gifts and would probably really appreciate the gesture. How about some kind of gift basket?

What should I give DD's bus driver for an end-of-year gift? This is middle school, public, if it matters. He is a nice guy and holds the bus for her if she's late. At Christmas, I was leaning toward a gift card, but DD said that seemed more like a tip than a gift.

Thanks!
