Any tips? I was hoping to buy something this week...

I'm looking to set up a walking desk in my home office. At first, I was hopeful that I could find a decent used treadmill on Craigslist or something, but after several months of trying, that's been sort of a bust.

So, I am happy to purchase one new, but I have no idea what I should be looking for or how much I should spend to get a good quality treadmill.

- I want a "real" treadmill (not a self-powered one).
- I will mostly use it to walk but may also want to jog on it.
- I want something that's worth the investment, but I'm honestly looking to spend less than $1000.
- The only treadmills I've used have been the professional ones in gyms. I'm used to those and would prefer something like that unless it's unrealistic.
- I would prefer a smaller treadmill that's still fully-featured/powered since my home office isn't huge. I'd pay more for a smaller/more compact treadmill

Any advice? Where's the best place to buy one? Is maintenance hard?
