Pretty much all of them.

If a kid is a "great athlete" I'm surprised the schools haven't found them already.

But then parents aren't particularly good assessors of their own children's athletic performance or potential. Especially if neither of the parents were great athletes. And genes play a huge part in this.

St Johns College High School and in fact any of the big Catholic athletic WCAC powerhouses, and Bullis.
But none of those are all that hard to get into academically.

But all the independent schools even Sidwell, Maret, GDS, Cathedral Schools, Visitation will be interested in a great athlete that is also academically qualified for the school, it is a factor that can for sure help, and probably sports that are particularly historically strong at the school or where one player can make a huge difference are the most likely to result in concrete admissions help (ie boys basketball at Sidwell or Maret, baseball at Maret, maybe girls soccer at Sidwell). When setting up a visit or interview, be sure the admissions office know that the child is interested in meeting with or speaking to the coach.
