Have you tried the Virginia ABC store?
I think in college we used to get it at Safeway, but that was so many years ago.
If you can't find it, maybe you could sub Red Rocket, or MD 20/20?

Subject: Thunderbird in Arlington?
I am supposed to bring Thunderbird to a "bad wine" party next weekend- any suggestions on where I can find it in Arlington? I've called basically all of the wine shops and none have it and I've tried a few liquor stores with no luck, either. Neither Giant nor Safeway have it.
