This summer, I have a one year old and we are at the pool almost every day. I don't know what to do.. despite my best efforts to put it up, some stupid kid invariably splashes me and it gets wet. I can't blow dry my hair every day- I have no time, especially now that we are down to one nap. What can I do other than walking around looking like crap all summer with gross hair?
I really hate it when adults have this attitude at the pool. You are at a POOL. You are going to get splashed and wet. If you don't like getting splashed, don't go.

I recommend a biting email to the other moms -- explain this outrageous splashing behavior and your hair care time needs. They will certainly treat you as you deserve from that point on.
