One of my favorite threads from last year discussed this. My vote was a close-in Arbys!

another good bagel place along Elden St. in Herndon. . .

ever since Einstein left, there is NOTHING unless you venture on down close to Reston, and the one on the corner of Elden and H. Parkway is always TOO crowded, and the Einstein across from Reston Town Center is also a) packed, b) doesn't toast their bagels enough, c) has a bad parking lot.

Good international restaurants outside of the city, that don't de-spice their entire menu, or sugar/salt it up.

A really good, classic breakfast place. Not a greasy diner and not fancy brunch - just legitimately good breakfast.

+1. A place with stalls -- basically a giant food court where the food-truck types would come and setup good stuff.
Not the crap that's in the mall food courts.

There was a massive thread about this a couple if months ago... If I weren't on my phone I'd find it. Some of the suggestions brought back memories.

I know this isn't where you were going with this, BUT.... I really wish we had a good soup and salad place like Sweet Tomatoes or Souper Salad.
