I haven't been there in more than a year because it was so loud that conversation was pretty much impossible. Same with Bar Dupont, which I love.

I have not been to Firefly since they remodeled, but I always loved it before. Urbana on P Street is also quite lovely, as is Pizza Paradiso.
I'm the person you quoted. I went for happy hour on a Friday night and sat on the oustside patio. It was perfect. I also went for a weekday lunch and sat inside, it was pretty calm.

Floriana on 17th St is nice and you can sit our front. It's quieter than right on the circle.

Happy hour at West End Bistro at the Ritz Carlton. Seriously good food and cocktails.

Its been forever since I've known hip places around there. Cocktails and appetizers would be perfect. She's staying at the Marriott on 22nd b/t N and M, so someplace in west dupont would be great. Thanks!
