Yes, I think you have expressed it is unfair . We so not see the whole file on this forum...what if their dra scores which are also in the file were sky- high? Maybe that put them over the edge

If you post the scores, people mgiht have more input for you.

They are both "average".

See, this is what I am confused about. Many people have posted that their ADD/ADHD kids got into the program despite low memory and processing speed scores, because they have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. I have a friend whose daughter got in with dyslexia. How come and all these kids, who clearly deserve to be in the program, but have issues related to some of the WISC's categories, make it and other kids, who may have similar scores but are undiagnosed with any such condition are at risk of not making it in? It seems strange and unfair to me.

How low are the WMI and PSI? If they are below "high average" I would worry.

OP here. No, I haven't posted on other threads (yet) as we just got the scores last week. I have read various similar postings though, but no definitive conclusions as to whether people have been successful on appeal in the past. I'm just looking for some support in order to decide what to do with this outcome. Thanks!

Have you posted before on other threads? This sounds very familiar.. or maybe these posts are all sounding the same ..

What were the specific scores?

We are appealing with WISC as new information. DC has a very high GAI (based on VCI and PRI at 99%) but low processing speed. Other tests were strong (NNAT, FxAT) but low GBRS. Any past positive outcomes with similar scores?
