I'm going to try the strawberry rhubarb sherbet from the WaPo May 1 Food section.

Agree with this. This time of year, people like to eat lighter (or at least I do), so fresh fruit over a tart or cake is divine.

I clicked hoping for some ideas myself. Going to a friend's and need to bring a side or a dessert, but it needs to travel well.
