I am a member as well and yes WSC is not renewing there lease. They said they have been in the RED for a while. I guess so....no advertising out on main roads....know one knows its tucked away in the back. This is the 4th gym in same location. I heard Golds gym was looking at the space. I am bummed!

i'm a member there and live 10 mins away, and not sure I want to drive all the way to Bethesda or SS. I'm going to look into planet fitness or other gyms in my area

Does that mean that Vida, Crunch or Equinox will be coming in? It would be good to have one of those in Georgetown. Having been a member of WSC, it was too expensive with really mediocre facilities and classes.

Well, I guess no one else here cares or belongs here, but it is indeed closing - on June 30. SO nice of them to give such notice.

They expect people to go down to one of the Bethesda locations or Silver Spring.

I hear rumors it is closing as of 6/30/13.

Anyone know anything?

I have worried about this ever since they closed the Chevy Chase location.
