Joan Jett - Bad Reputation. Unless it reminds you too much of that Shrek CD you play for your kids all the time.

I also like P!nk some of the songs mentioned above plus: U & Ur Hand, Stupid Girls, Raise your Glass, There you Go (I have a bunch of P!nk on my playlist)
Melissa Etheridge - Like the way I do
Meredith Brooks - Bitch
Eurythmics - Missionary Man

If you want to expand from angry women- there are a couple of other songs that are good:

Usher - OMG or DJ got us falling in love
LMFAO - Sexy and I know it
Eminem - Lose Yourself
Eminem and Rhianna - Love the way you lie
Jessie J - Price Tag
Michael Franti and Spearhead - Say Hey

Happy work out!

I second all the recommendations for Pink -- "Blow Me" is a current fave. Kelly Clarkson has some good stuff too ("Miss Independent" and "Catch My Breath" come right to mind, but there are others.

Also, more esoteric, but Keena "Girl From the Gutter" is great.
