If I wanted to hire an in-home personal trainer, where do I look? There are some on CL but I'm worried about scams.

Both are great. ACSM is considered a gold standard in the exercise science / physiology world NSCA is a very close second but is geared more towards implmenatation of the science. NSCA also has the CSCS option along with PT testing

I am planning to get certified this summer. I would like to hear from other trainers on the organization they are certified with. I am trying to decide between ACSM or NSCA.
