Not likely. We eat a balanced diet. A pop tart isn't going to hurt anyone. My oldest three are in college. Totally healthy. Very athletic. One on a Crew scholarship. My high school kids run track and row.
My husband and I are 46. He is 6'1 160 pounds. Just finished his fifth marathon. I am 5'4 and 115. Just finished my seventh. We are in better shape than 99% of the people I see walking around. Low cholesterol, low BP, no chronic illnesses at all.
Bragging? Nope. Just pointing out that you don't have to eat fat free, sugar free, taste free food to be healthy. Everything in moderation. If we were fatties, I certainly wouldn't buy Poptarts. But we aren't. So we get to enjoy their delicious fruity goodness guilt free!
