Rosie Pope makes a really nice diaper bag that looks like a normal purse

I have a leather tote from brooks brothers. Super simple, well made, no logos. But we never really packed bottles. I'm sure you could find a purse insert to use in a regular bag.

I'm looking for something similar but I'd like for it to zip and have a cross body strap. I have a skip hop bag that never seems to fit anything. It's fine for everyday but I'd like a simpler bigger bag when we travel. Any ideas?

MZ Wallace has some nice options. I think the Kelly is the largest with lots of pockets. You can search on their site for cross-body only styles too.

I also used the Neverful from Louis Vuitton. Neverfuls are gorgeous, but you can't zip them closed. I stopped using it after a lovely gentleman at Target decided to steal my wallet and purchase $900 worth of sneakers from Footlocker. At present, I put my wallet, etc in a small crossbody bag, and dump all the baby stuff in a regular old diaper bag. Boo.

Never had a "diaper" bag just a big bag/purse with my 2 kids. Usually use the neverfull LV or the longchamp.

When I was ready to move on from diaper bags I got a lesportsac. WASHABLE. 'Nuff said.

I used a Tumi messenger back and it was perfect.

I used a plain black lesportsac, which I liked because it had a million pockets and so I always could find my hand sanitizer/diaper pad/spitup towel/board book/sippy cup/etc.

You might also look at baggalini.

I'm using this one and I like it:

I think Marc Jacobs has a slightly smaller version too but I like to carry around a ton of stuff.

I went to the Neiman's outlet and bought a Foley & Corinna bag (sort of like this one http://www.google.com/shopping/product/13174991507349481782?q=foley%20&%20corinna=&sa=X&ei=SLyTUcraApTu9ATYmoGIBQ&ved=0CM8BEL8TMBI) that I now use as a diaper bag, essentially.

But I did this when #2 was 1.5 and #1 was 4.5 so I didn't need to carry nearly as much crap as I did previously. Now, I will usually have a couple of diapers in there, small pack of wipes, 1 set of clothes, and that's it. Works well for me but it wouldn't have in the days of bottles.

I currently use a Leslie and Timi diaper bag (which look more like a normal bag). While I like the styling of the bag the quality isn't great.

I am pregnant with #2 and would like to upgrade to something nicer. My thought is to use a larger "normal" bag with lots of pockets/areas. My main requirements are that it has a (detachable) crossbody strap and can handle all of the little kid stuff moms carry. Oh and I am not interested in a patterned bag like Petunia Picklebottom or Vera Bradley.

Has anyone else done this? Any suggestions on brands/specific purses? My only thought at this point was maybe Rebecca Minkoff?

Thanks!!
