OMG is it that hard to visit your MIL for a day? You got the mother's day you wanted already and didn't have to deal with her then - be happy.

We always have 2 Mothers' Day because mine lives in France, where MD is later in May. So we both get 2 celebrations!

Go with the flow, even if your MIL is the "me me me" type.

Some people get a little too diva-ish over this sort of stuff. Maybe she's one of those people who doesn't like to feel gypped and that she gets her fair share in everything. A very tiresome habit for all involved.

Just go for a visit, don't need to think of it as a Mother's day celebration. DH can bring flowers and a card.
